Smoothie 1

This smoothie takes only five minutes to prepare if you have all the required ingredients in the pantry. It is gluten-free and vegetarian. It can be taken in the morning as a breakfast as well. To make the smoothie you will need the following ingredients:

Ingredients

260 grams frozen or fresh raspberries (2 cups)

2 bananas

6 dates (deseeded)

1 tablespoon ground flax seeds

2 cups cold water

Method

Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until it is smooth.

If using fresh raspberries, add four to five ice cubes in the blender as well. You can substitute raspberries with strawberries as well if raspberries are not available.

All the ingredients in this smoothie are rich in minerals and vitamins. It will not only give you a glowing skin but also replenish your body’s vitamins and mineral stores. Flax seeds are rich in omega 3 fatty acid and have anti-inflammatory properties that are good for skin.

Bananas contain good amounts of vitamin C and B6 which are key to maintain healthy skin. It also provides manganese and antioxidants which prevent the skin from aging prematurely. Likewise, raspberries are also beneficial for the skin with high amounts of antioxidants, omega 3, and omega 6 fatty acids.

Another ingredient, dates which contains vitamin A helps to maintain healthy skin and mucous membranes. You can also add leafy green vegetables like a cup of spinach or lettuce to this smoothie for more added benefits of these vegetables.

Another super healthy glowing skin smoothie involves ingredients like avocados, coconut water, mangoes, pineapple, spinach, bananas and flax seeds. Avocados and coconut water are great for skin as they help hydrate it which results in glowing skin.

Mangoes provide carotenoids which help give a rosy glow and pineapples are a rich source of vitamin C which is vital for collagen production. Collagen improves the elasticity, integrity and firmness of the skin. Spinach is also a rich source of vitamin C.

Bananas and flax seeds have several benefits as discussed above. This smoothie does not require any sugar as it gets its sweetness from the fruits like bananas and mangoes. Pineapple gives it tanginess and a tropical touch.

1 cup pineapple cubes

1 cup mango cubes

2 cups spinach

½ avocado pulp

½ cup coconut water

1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds

Method
