New Support Program By CancerCare Wildfires Affected Cancer Patients 

CancerCare is offering a new support program to help the cancer patients and to provide them not only financial support but also emotional assistance.  It acknowledges the requirement of cancer patients who are affected by the natural disaster of wildfires in California and thus aims to make all efforts for it.

CancerCare was formed in 1944 and many services are provided by the CancerCare like educational workshops, financial and emotional assistance. A non-profit organization cancer care is working and serving for the cancer patients. Cancer care knows very well all the facts and conditions that a cancer patient and his family suffer.

Six lac and sixty-five thousand dollars were raised by Cancer care in 2017 to support cancer patients financially. Cancer care also works on the issues which are issued by the Hurricanes Harveys, Jose, Maria, and Irma. Cancer care is also working with Hurricanes and Rita on some broad-gauge programs to support cancer patients.

 The mission of both these organizations is to provide assistance to all life-saving cancer patients especially to those who are fighting against cancer in disaster areas.

Cancer care is always ready to provide financial and emotional assistance to cancer patients. Cancer care provides educational information to the cancer patients and their families to survive and to ménage the challenges they are facing. Social workers of CancerCare spend time with the patients and their loved ones and they try their best to take them out from that stressed and uneased conditions.

Patricia J. Goldsmith, CEO of Healthcare, finds the devastation and scourage, brought by the wildfires, a natural disaster, in California much pained and worst. But at the same time, he is satisfied and happy to see that they can provide help to the patients who are affected by this natural disaster. They are also offering patients an assistance program which is like a fragrance for the cancer patients after the outbreak of this natural disaster.

The California Wildfires Patient Assistance Program is not only working for those patients who are affected by the natural disaster of wildfires in California but also working for many cancer patients affiliated with many disasters and cancer organizations include the “Florida Society Of Clinical Oncology, Elderly Transportation Service LLC (TRANSCITA), Partners HealthCare, Medical Oncology Association of Southern California, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Association of Community Cancer Centers, the American Cancer Society, Direct Relief, the US Department of Health and Human Services, for Health Law and Policy Innovation of Harvard Law School, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, American Society for Radiation Oncology, National Cancer Institute, Oncology Nursing Society, Florida Blue, and Migrant Clinicians Network. CancerCare and UnitedHealthCare,” both pay regards to Eisai USA Foundation because it was not possible to form or establish a cancer assistance program for the Californias patients without the assistance of the Eisai USA Foundation.

CancerCare is a milestone for the cancer patients of California because no one could help them much earlier as CancerCare helped them by establishing a patient assistance program immediately.
