Iran’s ‘Zombie’ Angelina Jolie Doppelganger catches COVID-19

Iranian ‘Zombie’ Angelina Jolie doppelganger fell ill with COVID-19 and is currently on a ventilator. 22 years old, social media star Sahar Tabar from Tehran, whose real name is Fatemeh Khaishvand shot putter after posting pictures of her frightening gaunt face.

She is in prison for her activities on Instagram. The Center for Human Rights in Iran said the judge refused her bail even though the novel virus is rife in the prisons. The country freed nearly 85,000 prisoners in the country to combat the novel coronavirus that has killed thousands more than the official figures suggest.

Payam Derafshan, a human rights lawyer said that it is unacceptable for them that this woman has infected with the novel coronavirus and in such circumstances and her detention order has been extended in jail during this time.

She was arrested on charges including violence, blasphemy and gaining income via inappropriate means and also encouraging corruption. Sarah was detained on the orders of guidance court in Tehran. The court deals with social and cultural crimes and moral corruption. She shot to prominence in 2017 after she had nearly 50 surgeries to look like the actress Angelina Jolie. She confirmed that her look was achieved through editing and makeup.

The judge, Mohammad Moghiseh has denied her release on bail even as the prisoner went on to report more than 70,000 COVID-19 cases. Mr. Derafshan said it is become a routine of the officials to deny everything after the authorities claimed she is not ill with the coronavirus. He said that it makes no sense for denying it. The director of the prison should acknowledge her illness and admit that the girl has been hospitalized. He said that the girl and her inmates who have been placed in prison on some non-violent charges must be released because of the novel coronavirus outbreak.

The parliament of Iran said that they had likely faced twice as many fatalities from the virus as the official coronavirus death toll shows. Investigators say the official toll only counted the deaths in hospitals and people who were tested positive before their deaths, mentioning the true death toll is higher than this.

Iran has reported 4,777 coronavirus deaths, a figure that has aroused suspicion among the international community and the experts. They reported 76,389 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, making it the worst outbreak of the Middle East so far.

Sarah said that her pictures are photo-shopped and there is a lot of makeup as every time she posted a picture, she funnily paints her face. She said it’s the way of expressing herself and a kind of art and said that her fans already know that this is not her real face. She added that she didn’t think about looking alike Jolie and also didn’t want to look like the Corpse Bride, the cartoon character. She said that she understands that she has little resemblance but she is herself a muse herself.
