CDC Warns for the Worst Consequences if Coronavirus Prevention Measures are Ignored

Many people stopped following the coronavirus measures after the lockdown ended previously in the US. Meanwhile, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warned the public about the threat of an outbreak in fall. The CDC issued the warning that a severe outbreak will follow in the coming months if people do not follow the preventive guidelines.

Dr. Robert Redfield is the director of the CDC. He urged the public to follow the guidelines issued by the CDC. He said that people of the US are currently in a war with the coronavirus pandemic. They should keep social distancing and wear a mask when they go outside. Also, people should avoid crowds and keep their hygiene in check at all times.

Dr. Redfield also said that every American needs to follow the guidelines to control the outbreak. He also said that the fall of this year will be the worst ever if people do not follow their recommendations.

According to the data issued by Johns Hopkins University, the number of coronavirus cases in the US crossed 5 million. Also, the coronavirus has caused 166,000 fatalities so far.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is the director of the National Institute of Allergies and Diseases. He said that the Americans have to face the number of cases and deaths caused by the coronavirus. There is no way to run away from the surges in the number of infections across the country.

The Republican Governors of Florida and Georgia did not make face masks compulsory for the public. Hence, the highest surge in cases is reported in these states of the US. Dr. Fauci said that it depends on the Americans for how much longer we need to deal with the pandemic. He said that the virus will linger in the country as long as they do no face reality.

Dr. Redfield showed optimism over the production of coronavirus vaccine. He said that they hope the vaccine will become available until next year. Meanwhile, anti-vaxxers are spreading conspiracies about the vaccine over different social media platforms.
